Summer Traffic Education Applications will be available May 5th. The class begins the morning of
June 15th at 9:30am. A list of applications received will be posted on the door of room 214 starting on the available application date. The applications must be received by 3:30pm May 16th, 2011.
You will be notified by email and a list will be posted as to your child's acceptance on the 18th of May. Keep the top portion of your child's application, as a reference to general information and requirements.
The following applications below have been received for consideration (not acceptance). The summer course will accept 27 students. The position in the class will be determined by the high school attending, grade entering, and birthdate of the student. (Please call if you feel there are special considerations that need to be made.) Payment of the fee is due before school is out for the summer. Make checks payable to Hamilton High School Traffic Education Program and give them to Linda in the high school office. You will be given a receipt for the monies paid.
Important Details...
1. There will be a mandatory Parent meeting before school is out for those families with a student who has made the class roster. TBA

There are 14 morning classes (9:30-12:30). Every student will drive a minimum of 6 times with morning and afternoon drives according to calendar until the 11th of August. Drives will be dependant on groups organized by the instructor. Drives will meet in the south parking lot by the Soccer fields. Morning drives begin at 6:00am sharp; afternoon drives begin 1:00 pm sharp.
2. Only two absences will be tolerated. Without a doctors note, your child will be dropped on their third absence, due to non-compliance with state requirements and course limitations .
3. If your child misses a drive, you have the option of paying $25.00 for the make up to cover vehicle and instructor costs . The payment is to be made to H.H.S and given to LInda in the high school office. After payment, the drive will be rescheduled. If the drive is not made up, the student will not pass Traffic Education.
Students need to bring: Notebook & writing utencil.
