Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Nate Lant
Nate Lant is in his eighth year of school administration having served as a principal at the middle school and elementary levels. Prior to becoming a principal, he was a third grade and kindergarten teacher. As a student in the public school system, Nate found the most influential adult figures in his life to be many of his teachers, coaches, and administrators. As an educator, his primary focus is enriching the lives of the students in much the same way his life was during his school-aged years. Nate earned a degree in Elementary Education from Western Montana College, and his Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Montana. A native of the Bitterroot Valley, Nate is thrilled that he is able to raise his family in the community of Hamilton. A small student-teacher ratio, wide-range of extra-curricular opportunities and the ability to attract and develop quality teachers makes the Hamilton School District an ideal fit for students, staff, and families seeking a personable, well-rounded educational experience.
