Mr. Ryan Wells
Ryan Wells grew up in Hamilton and graduated from Hamilton High School. After graduating from Hamilton High, Ryan attended the University of Montana where he majored in English literature with an emphasis in teaching. He was also an offensive lineman on the University of Montana football team. After graduating from the University of Montana, Ryan took a teaching job at Ronan High School where he taught English and coached football and Tennis. Ryan recognized his desire to be part of educational leadership and pursued his master’s degree in Education, Supervision and Leadership, online from the University of Phoenix while teaching full time. In 2016 he became the vice-principal at Ronan Middle School. Two years later he was hired to be the assistant principal at Hamilton High School, and he has been the principal of Hamilton High School since the fall of 2019. Ryan has learned a great deal since he began his career in education, especially from his students and their families. Moving forward Ryan is excited about the prospect of working with all stakeholders to create unique and valuable learning experiences based on individual student interests. Ryan and his wife, Britney, love living in Hamilton and are truly proud of this community and school district. In his personal time, Ryan enjoys swimming, playing golf, and visiting with close family and friends.
