Annalisa Livesay

Hello, I am Annalisa Livesay (maiden name - Shaffer), and I am so thrilled to be a math teacher here at Hamilton High School. I enjoyed growing up in a small community on the Hi-line, Shelby, MT. I spent my time growing up there reading, playing volleyball and softball, singing in school and church choirs, and visiting Glacier. After high school I attended college at the University of Montana where I double-majored in English teaching and Math teaching. After college, I began my teaching career at Darby High School where I taught all levels of high shcool math for five years. During that time I also earned my master's degree from Montana State University in Math Education.

I have been living in Hamilton with my now husband for five years now and am grateful to call this community home. We have a cat (Luna), a dog (Molly the bernedoodle), and currently 10 chickens. I spend most of my free time enjoying this beautiful valley hiking, backpacking, camping, fishing, cross-country skiing, and gardening. I also enjoy reading, quilting, cooking, baking, and of course math.
