Additional Grad Requirement Information
Valedictorian/Salutatorian Requirements:
To be considered for valedictorian or salutatorian, students must have earned the requirements for the Enhanced HHS Diploma, plus an additional credit in math (4 total math credits) and a total of 28 overall credits.
Students must take at least 3 Advanced Placement (AP) Courses.
Calculation for Val/Sal will be made at the end of the 8th Semester
Distance learning will not replace residency grades for a higher grade for calculation in GPA, and only one course can be replaced in residency at HHS.
The principal must pre-approve any MTDA courses for classes not offered at HHS (such as French and other Foreign Languages).
HHS Diploma
ALC graduates will receive the HHS Diploma.
Students with more than 8 distance learning credits will earn the HHS Diploma
Students in either graduation track are encouraged to take Advanced Placement, honors courses, and dual credit courses.
