Through a partnership with the Department of Labor and Industry, we have the privilege of recognizing Hamilton High School/Bitterroot Polytech Charter School's first ever Certified Construction Technology Pre-Apprentices. These students chose to take every hands-on learning opportunity we offer in our shop at HHS as well as OSHA 10 and Forklift Theory & Safety Training. Whether these students choose to pursue a registered apprenticeship, pursue advanced technical training, or step right onto a job site, they are doing so with the backing of the Department of Labor and Industry. Please join me in congratulating our Construction Technology Pre-Apprenticeship certified students Darton Fryer and Nathan DiGiovanni (pictured below).

Bitterroot Polytech Charter School and Hamilton High School students attended a forklift safety and theory course yesterday morning with the Montana Building Industry Association (MBIA) Grip Safety instructor Monty Jensen. They then had the opportunity to visit Pigman Builders' yard to see a telehandler forklift in person. Students were able to directly apply some of the classroom material to the field experience. A special THANK YOU to Pigman Builders for their partnership in this program and for hosting our students! This is a great example of how the Hamilton School District is giving our students real world experiences & opportunities that prepare them for the workforce! Go Broncs!
