Hamilton Broncs are doing amazing things!
High School senior Dawson Berglund wrote and published a book called "Writing on the Wall" that captures Hamilton's rich history by telling the stories of Hamilton High School graduates.

Congrats to our tennis seniors!! Here's a great update from Coach Dufresne on how well their season is going:
We often measure sports in wins and losses; as a society, we are expected to. We played a lot of tennis Friday and Saturday. We had good wins. We had tough losses. Yet none of them resonate more than the character of this team.
We had our first team dinner on Thursday. 40 players showed up, from seasoned veterans to freshman beginners. They played cornhole, ping pong, hide and go seek, darts, basketball, hacky sack, and spike ball. Groups intermingled. Varsity and JV didn't matter. We were simply a team. The dinner lasted late into the night, well past when I assumed people would go home.
We had senior recognition night Friday. I looked at that group of kids, their leadership, their inclusion of the rest of the team, and simply felt blessed to have the opportunity to coach these players, to inherit this team. I am so grateful for the path they have blazed for the future of the program.
Perhaps next week I will go back to reporting wins and losses, as society expects, but not this week. Because in the end, I hope my coaching career isn't defined by wins and losses; I hope it's defined by the impact I have on the players I coach.
I don't know how this year will end up. We may make a deep run and bring home plaques. We may fall short of our hopes and goals. What I do know is this team, win or lose, will have a tremendous impact on me, and each other. I can not ask for more from a group of kids.

The 2023 Levy will allow Hamilton School District to continue offering crucial programs like Keystone.

Congrats to the Bronc tennis team on their wins over East Helena! Here's the recap from Coach Dufresne:
Both Broncs teams had great performances today - even with three of our players (Janessa Chaplin, Dawson Berglund, and Jacob Rollins) off securing another Envirothon state championship (whoop whoop!). The girls took down East Helena 5-2 while the boys beat them 6-1. AND, mother nature cooperated to some extent to where we even saw the sun in spurts. Proud of this team from top to bottom. They continue to display character and effort each an every day.

The safety and security of our students is always a top priority.
This is why the district spends a great deal of time planning and preparing administrators, teachers, and staff for emergencies. This year the district planned a large scale reunification drill for Daly Elementary School.
Committed to our kids, our schools, our town.

Summary of the tennis team's win over Butte Central from Coach Dufresne:
Bronc tennis rounded out the week in Butte Central on Saturday. The team on the whole traveled over 850 miles from Monday to Saturday! Bus rides have been a mix of sleep, chatter, silence, laughter, and some raucous games of Uno. The boys beat Butte Central 6-1. Jacob Rollins and the doubles team of Finn Dufresne and Jason Chaplin played nail biting matches that were won in a third set tie-breaker. Both Andy and Colin won in straight sets, continuing their undefeated play. Speaking of undefeated, the boys team has yet to lose a dual. The girls, playing short handed because of a couple of injuries, battled to a 4-3 win. The team heads down the valley to face rival Corvallis tomorrow at 3:00. The first dual provided some electric tennis. Should be another amazing day on the courts.
