AP Art Student Ayda Griffin:
Hi my name is Ayda Griffin, I am a senior at Hamilton High School. Ever since I can remember I have been creating art. It seems to be a type of emotional stress relief from my crazy unpredictable life. I have also always had the ability to see the beauty in even the simplest things. The natural beauties of the world and the way I have the ability to manipulate and control them to match my feelings and thoughts truly is what makes me love to create. I have also found that I am a very visual thinker and it's much easier for me to comprehend concepts, things, and ideas that I am able to see. In this piece I wanted to show that I am unsure of what I want to do after highschool, this is mainly shown by the dock. The idea is that I can jump off any part of the dock into any depth of water that I choose. There are so many different options that I don’t know which one is right for me and how it will impact my future. Very similar to my current situation with deciding what is best for me after highschool.
