The last 5th grade ski day at Lost Trail was on Thursday! Thank you to the HMS FFE, as well as all parents and HMS staff who worked to give our students four fantastic opportunities at Lost Trail. And of course, thank you Lost Trail for hosting and instructing our students!




The HMS staff working together in using the HSD#3 Essay Rubric to score 7th grade essays. No matter if they teach PE, math, science, music, or art, all HMS staff have words like organization, development, language, and conventions as part of their vocabulary this morning! These professional development days play a vital role in developing the skill sets of staff, as well as building a cohesive staff culture.



"The Adams Family" musical starts TONIGHT (3/17) and will run through Saturday (3/19) at the HHS Performing Arts Center. The show starts @7PM. Reminder - Parent/Teacher conferences continue tonight (3/10) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at HHS and HMS!

On Tuesday night, the 7th and 8th grade Lady Colts played their final basketball games of the season against Florence. The HMS crowd saw the Colts win two of three games, and the cheerleaders break out an elevator! The Colts’ hard work in the classroom and on the court helped create many positive experiences during the season. Thank you Coach Brown, Magness, Nelson, Jessop, and Stromberg for all your time and energy!



7th grade A team lost to Frenchtown 18-31. Way to play hard girls.



The 8th Grade Lady Colts traveled to Frenchtown and earned two hard fought wins. It has been fun to watch the girls improve with each game. Catch their last game of the season tomorrow night at home against Florence!





HMS 7th grade girls B team won a close one 22-20 over the Frenchtown Broncs. The HMS cheer squad rooted them on.
