The Parent-Player Winter Sports Meeting for HMS will be held Mon, Jan 27 @ 6:30 in the HMS auditorium. This meeting is for parents/students interested in cheerleading and girls basketball.

We are excited to announce our upcoming District Spelling Bee! This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate students' academic success and dedication to learning. Hamilton Middle School students, in fifth through eighth grade, will compete for the title of Spelling Bee Champion, January 30, at 2:30, in the HMS gym.

Hello HSD3 Families: The school board has now gone into a closed session to review our superintendent finalists' background checks. So, we have now made the 2 videos of the 6 finalist interviews public for your viewing (dated Jan 13 & Jan 15). You can watch them here:

Once the school board is back in open session, you will be able to view a live feed (at the same link above) of their discussion on the finalists. We encourage you to share your feedback in person or through online comments.

Don't forget to join us for the Community Meet & Greet with the final 3 superintendent candidates on Wed, Jan 15, 4:30-5:00PM in the HHS library. Candidates Eldon "Chad" Johnson, Jennifer Sharp & Dave Thennis will be available to chat and answer your questions.
The board will be interviewing these candidates from approximately 5:45-8:45PM Wed evening. The interviews will be recorded (as the interviews with the previous 3 candidates were on Monday). Following the final interview, the board will go into a closed session to review the candidates' background checks. At this point, all recorded interviews will be made public for your viewing.
Following the closed session, the board will return to an open meeting with a live stream to discuss the candidates. They will be taking public comments both in person and online (https://www.youtube.com/@HSD3Boardmtg).
