HHS Tennis recap from Coach Dufresne:
After a frustrating defeat to mother nature (match cancellation) on Friday, the Hamilton tennis team bounced back with both the girls and the boys teams defeating Dillon. The boys won 7-0, and the girls won 5-2. The boys got singles wins from Andy Purcell, Carden Nelson, Jackson Kirkbride, and James Tossberg (default). Doubles teams Finn Dufresne/Jason Chaplain, Daniel Simmerman/Keaton Martin, and Kaden Carroll/Micah Van Sickle completed the sweep. The girls got singles wins from Tallulah Pinjuv, Sam Geroy, and Crystal Van Sickle. Doubles teams Charlie Holmes/Codie Clarke and Anna Twardoski/Jasmine Jimenez both won as well. Kristen Jessop was up 6-4 before having the match called because she was battling sickness. Emma Hollingsworth/Gwen Wolfe lost a tough match to Dillon's #1 doubles team, but showed resilience. Beyond the wins and losses, it was simply a great first day of tennis until mother nature put an end to the match against Ronan as soon as it started. The atmosphere was full of joy, the griddle was sizzling with pancakes and bacon, and the air was filled with laughter and camaraderie. I can't express enough how much I appreciate the character of this team, and these players. It's going to be a fantastic season. Can't wait for the next practice and the next match.

HSD3 has some amazing students! The HHS Leadership Class was asked to come up with a final project that would recognize a need in their school/community and cultivate a positive change in that area of interest, while simultaneously developing skills that promote leadership.
We've created a webpage that highlights some of the great projects they came up with! We are proud of the positive impact our students our having in our community and schools!
